The Energy Research Accelerator’s Policy & Science Dialogue event series

This new event series which will focus on specific debated topics within the energy sector where breakthroughs in understanding is needed to allow advances towards decarbonisation to take place within the sector.

We want to hear from people who are interested in taking part in the series as speakers or panellists.

Who is it for?

The ERA partnership of universities, research institutions, and industry partners, is at the forefront of energy research. The Policy & Science Dialogue Series will focus on areas that are essential to address as we move to a net-zero future. The aim of the Policy and Science Dialogue Series is to bring together a variety of experts from various corners of the energy ecosystem, including researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders. It is a platform for discussion on topics that are central to the future of the energy industry.

How does it work?

If you are a researcher at an ERA partner institution you can propose a topic for the event, these can range from cutting-edge technological innovations to pressing policy and regulatory issues that shape the energy landscape. If selected, the ERA team will work with the proposer to organise an event to explore the issues in play in more detail, hearing from a range of people engaged in either research, policy or industry in these areas. The event will be used to try to bring clarity on the topic and will be used to try to develop a joint statement on the topic which can be shared with a wider set of stakeholders, such as policy makers, funders, etc.
