BGS has, at its headquarters in Keyworth a  Virtalis ActiveWall single channel stereographic visualisation system. The i3DVF is a facility used for the visualisation and analysis of data from GIS and geological models in software such as GeoVisionary, SKUA/GOCAD, Petrel, Pergeos. The facility provides a space for group research and analysis of Big Data on a micro to macro scale. It also is useful for stakeholder engagement to communicate BGS science and capability to a broad audience.
